Wow, it is so hard to believe that Mason is 8 months old. These past few months have just flown by. I feel like I'm going to blink and he'll be a year old.
Mason loves Kaiser (Kaiser does not reciprocate). The picture below is Mason smiling at his doggie.

Mason is babbling a ton. Sometimes it sounds like he is really saying something. He is also saying a couple of words. He was saying "poop" and "boob" quite often, but he hasn't been saying them as much lately. He did say poop the other day when I was changing his dirty diaper though, so maybe he does know what it means. Mason also says da-da now, but no ma-ma yet.
He still is not that big into eating solid foods, but I'm confident that he will like them more soon. I think it will help once he can pick up his own food and eat it. He likes doing things on his own. He is able to pick up the Gerber puffs, but he hasn't been able to get them in his mouth yet. Maybe in a week or two.

Mason is clapping now. It is so cute. He also really loves playing with his toys. He is really liking day care these days. I still go to visit him every day for lunch. When I leave, I sit him down by all the toys and he starts playing. He normally doesn't even notice that i'm leaving. If I try to say goodbye to him, he gives me this look like 'Mom, don't interupt my play time, please'.

Mason is all about lounging around. He doesn't seem interested in crawling at all. He would prefer to just sit. He loves sitting and playing with his toys, but he hates being on his tummy.

We've spent hundreds of dollars on toys for Mason, yet his favorite toy is the Kleenex box. Go figure!
