Another one...

Another cute thing before I forget all about it... When we first moved here, Mason said, "Whoa, Mommy! It is pretty awesome here because they speak Chicago. It's kinda like English".

Cute things

Today Mason was watching a cartoon. During the commercial break, a commercial came on for some toy and I heard Mason say "I want this, Santa." Apparently he thinks Santa can just magically hear him :)

The other day, Mason said "Mommy, when I am grown up and turn 7 can I walk to school by myself?"

Yesterday, Mason had finished his cereal. He said he was still hungry and asked if I would put cereal in a baggie so he could eat it on the way to school. When we got to school, he had eaten all but about 5 pieces of cereal. I told him to eat them so I could throw away the baggie and he said he really wanted Andy to see (his best friend).

When Andy got there, Andy said "Hey, Mason!"

Mason with a super cool look as he slowly puts the cereal in his mouth, "Hey, Andy." I could tell he was trying super hard to look cool and try to make this look like a normal, no big deal occurrence.
Andy: "Is that your snack you are eating?"
Mason: "No, I just brought it". He now has the biggest no-big-deal, i-am-the-coolest-person-in-the-world look as he eats the last piece. Trying to be super nonchalant about it.
