So hard to realize sometimes
” Yesterday I was clever. So I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise. So I am changing myself.”

Goodbye, Will
I think I now know what the hardest part of being an expat will be. Everyone leaves. Everyone. We are all here for a limited time. Some people indefinitely, but it seems everyone plans to go "home" eventually. And why not? If you stay, your friends will no longer be here and you will be in a never ending quest for new friends.
It is like a revolving door. New friends come and old friends leave.
One of Mason's friends, Will, left to move to Atlanta this week. I know that Mason doesn't understand yet, and I'm sure he'll be asking to go play with him soon.

I love MTV
Yes, I am aware that I am over 30, but I love MTV. I love it because it doesn't block people from countries outside the US from watching its shows online. THANK YOU, MTV.

Clap On, Clap Off
Our lights are back. We officially had no electricity for 2 weeks. We are now in the process of trying to get out of our lease, and plan to move to a new apartment in June. We just don't want to have to deal with the uncertainty of not knowing what will happen next.
And, of course, our dryer stopped working yesterday. Of course it did.
