A warm Fall!

Here are a couple Fall photos of the kids...

Mason fell while running in the basement and loosened his two front teeth. They fell out a couple of weeks later.

And here is Makayla in her Halloween costume. Mason was an alien. It didn't look very cute so I can't post his picture. Ok, OK, I actually can't find any pictures of him in it, whoops!

Where has the time gone?

I can't believe how fast this year is speeding by! I guess that happens with a new baby. Last night I felt a sharp little tooth starting to poke through on Makayla's gums. I guess that explains why she has wanted me to hold her non-stop this week. I'm gonna miss her little gummy smile.

She is developing quite the personality. She is so different from how Mason was. SHe is definitely much more independent than he was. I have a feeling I'm going to br in trouble once she is on the move! Mason never really got into things, but I can just see it in her eyes and she can't wait to cause some trouble!

She just ADORES Mason. She lights up any time he is close to her. She finds him absolutely hilarious and he is always making her giggle.

Mason is doing great in 2nd grade so far. He has been promised a hamster if he gets good grades this first semester, and that is all he talks about. I hope that he does end up with good grades or he will be devastated. He seriously talks about it every single day and is constantly saving things for his hamster.

He just Makes me so proud every day. He is such a good boy and is constantly doing things to help me. He will play with Makayla when I need to take a shower or get something done really quick, and he is just always helping me out. Oe day, I was putting Makayla down for a nap and when I came downstairs, he had set up a place for me to lay down with my feet propped up so he could read me a story and give me a back massage. He is so thoughtful.

Mason lost his front two teeth! He fell down running in the basement and loosened them up. I felt so guilty. He had fallen and was crying really loudly. Wll, anyone that knows Mason knows he tends to overexhaggerate when he gets hurt. So I tell him to stop crying and he is fine. He looks up at me all teary and trying hard not to cry and there is blood pouring from his mouth! Whoops! So I try to play it cool so I don't look like a big meany and I keep telling him he is fine while inside I'm trying to rremain calm, haha. He was fine, but both teeth fell out a couple weeks later.

I'm behind on my picture taking, but I'm planning to take some soon...
