Cute things

Whenever Mason does something wrong, he says "I didn't mean to mean to.", and it is so hard to be mad at him.

My step-dad taught him how to be a pirate, and now Mason walks around covering up one of his eyes and will say "Aaaarrrrrr, Maybe (instead of Matey)!"

Since Mason moved up to the 3 year old class, he has officially decided that he is not little any more. Mason's (ex)girlfriend Marlee, who has not moved up to the 3 year old class yet, is now a "baby" and Mason is a big boy. She apparently still pees in her underwear, which he was telling me about, and one of the reasons he thinks she is still a baby. Peeing in your underwear is sooooooo last year :P

Adrienne is a little boy in Mason's old class. He bit Mason one time several months ago, and Mason still brings it up. He tells me at least once a week that he saw Adrienne, but he doesn't like him. He says, "Adrienne bite me, so I not Ring-around-the-rosie with him. He try Ring-around-the-rosie, but I not Ring-around-the-rosie with him any more". It seems that ring-around-the-rosie is reserved only for his most trusted friends.

The things he catches on to...

Efe and I have talked a little bit about what we will do with Kaiser when we leave. We still haven't decided, but it about broke my heart when Mason said to me:

"We can't give Kaiser away, Mommy. Kaiser would be scared. We can't give him away."

Honestly, I am just shocked that he even picked up on this. He is always listening to what we say, even when it seems like he isn't.

Happy 50th Birthday, Mom!

My mom turned 50 last week. Mason and I went home for her party.
