Ugh

I have been SO sick since we got back from vacation. We got back Monday night, and I completely lost my voice. My sinuses were killing me. I finally gave in yesterday and decided to start a course of antibiotics. I knew it was bad when my holistic doctor insisted that I needed them, even though I tried to talk him out of it. He was right, I did need them. I started them yesterday morning, and I felt even worse last night. I still felt really crappy all day today too. Just tonight, I am finally starting to feel a bit better. I still feel run-down and have a sinus headache, but I feel so much better than I did.

I have a lot more travel coming up in the next week and a half, so I am hoping I can fight this off and make it through my trip without getting myself sick again.

Long Weekend

We went to Jacksonville this past weekend to visit Efe's brother and his wife. It was a good time. We went to the beach one day and Mason really loved playing in the water. On Sunday morning, we drove to Orlando to go to Disney World. We went about the same time last year, but Mason really seemed to enjoy it much more this year.

His favorite thing seemed to be riding the Dumbo ride. He told all of his friends at school today that he got to meet Mickey and Minnie and he got to ride the flying elephant.

Unfortunately, in a mad rush, we forgot to take our camera. So, I swiped the pics that I posted from the Disney website (which is why they are kind of messed up).

Visit with Leah

I went to see Leah and her new baby Paige yesterday. Paige is the sweetest baby and she slept the whole day long, and barely cried at all. I swear I can't imagine what it would be like to have a baby like that :)
