Vacation Fun

Mason had a lot of fun while we were in Jamaica. He had the most fun at the Sesame Street shows that the resort had for the kids. He was dancing around with all the other kids.
When the characters first came out, he was a little afraid of them. They were loud and dancing and singing.
After a while, he got used to it and started dancing around.

He also enjoyed swimming in the kiddie pool. He liked putting water in the bucket with a shovel, and then dumping it out. He also liked splashing mommy.

We're Married!

We are back from Jamaica! We were so lucky that so many of our friends and family were able to join us. The wedding was great, and we had a lot of fun.

Mason barely made it through it without passing out from exhaustion. The picture below is a good representation of how he felt during the entire wedding and reception...

On Monday, Mason was supposed to leave to go back home to Indiana with my mom. Unfortunately, we noticed that there was pus filling his ear that morning. At the last minute, we were able to get the doctor to come and look at him. He said that it was the worst ear infection that he had ever seen. Also, he said that his ear drum was ruptured. The worst part was that he said that Mason could not fly for 48 hours because it would risk rupturing his other ear drum. So, Mason had to join us on our honeymoon. We made the best of it though, and enjoyed our time together as a family.

Mason is feeling much better now. We are going to take him to the pediatrician this afternoon, just to make sure that the ear infection is cleared up. It is very strange that he got this infection because he has never had an ear infection before. Also, he really didn't act like he was in pain. He was acting a little fussy, but we thought it was just because his schedule was all messed up. The doctor did say that some babies don't show the symptoms like others do. We are happy that he is feeling better now, and back to his old self.

I will post more wedding pictures later!
