Mason and I met Tina, Max and Baby Lila at the park today. It was Mason's reward for sleeping through the night for two nights. The boys had such a great time running around together. They are just so cute together. Mason told me that Max is his best friend today (he told me Marley was yesterday, but Max is today).
Our first week without Efe went OK. I missed him the most at the beginning of the week, but then it just kind of felt like he is out of town. I think it will hit me harder in a couple of weeks. This weekend is the first time it has felt weird. We always do things as a family on the weekend. Yesterday, I was wondering what we will do for the weekend without Efe here. We went to Panera this morning, and normally Efe takes Mason to Panera every Saturday. So, that felt a little weird.
Mason has been doing pretty well with Efe being gone. He asked for him several times, but I just kept explaining to him what the plan was and that Daddy was getting our apartment ready for us so that we can come.

Hang in there, the weeks will be over before you know it. Say your goodbyes by using the weekends to have playdates for Mason with all of his friends and your friends too. When you do finally get to go with Mason to meet Efe, you'll both be that much more excited for the trip. Best wishes for safe travels and a successful move.
